Which LGI Course would you like to attend?*

There must be a minumum of 6 participants registered one week before the class begins or it will be cancelled.

IMPORTANT: All registration fees are non-refundable and there is a $37 fee which goes directly to the American Red Cross.

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Basic Lifeguarding Instructor Course is to train instructors to teach the basic-level American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses. Complete Course Discription

Prerequisites - Candidates must:

1. Be at least 17 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the course.
2. Possess a current basic-level certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
3. Successfully complete the online Introduction to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course prior to the precourse skills session via the class roster and online content completion status report.
4. Obtain all instructor and participant materials before entering the first session of the instructor course which consist of the following:

American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructors Manual (print).
 Lifeguarding course presentation and/or DVD.
 American Red Cross Lifeguarding Manual (print or digital).


Spring Course #1: March 1-3, 2019 Located at Beachwood High School

◊ March 1 from 3:30 to 8:30 pm
 March 2 from 8 am to 4:30 pm
◊ March 3 from 8 am to 4:30 pm

Spring Course #2: May 17-19, 2019 located at the Seven Hills Recreation Center/Brooklyn Recreation Center

◊ May 17 from 3:30 to 8:30 pm @ the Seven Hills Recreation Center
◊ May 18 from 8 to 4 pm

◊ 8 am to 1 pm @ the Brooklyn Recreation Center
◊ 1 to 4 pm @ the Seven Hills Recreation Center

◊ May 19  from 8 to 4 pm @ the Seven Hills Recreation Center
